Rwanda has proposed increasing its national budget to accelerate construction works at the new Kigali International Airport in Bugesera District and provide additional support to RwandaAir amid the ongoing impact of conflict in the Middle East. Speaking before Parliament, Finance Minister Yusuf Murangwa said the additional funding will help fast-track the airport project while supporting the national carrier’s operations and growth strategy.
