Airports aren’t the nicest places to grab a few minutes of shuteye as many travelers will attest to. But things are changing as airport terminals around the world are introducing pay by-the-hour shot-stay mirco hotels.
In recent years, different versions of these capsule type rooms have emerged, e.g., Amsterdam and London have the Yotel, Dubai’s has just introduced the Pod, and Moscow has the Sleepbox. Then there is the Napcab which can be found at Terminal Two in Munich. All or most of these come with a television set, alarm clock, a bed of course, some with shower facilities, wifi connection and flight information. So if you have a long layover at major airport hub, look into the mini getaways for a quick power nap or even a full night’s sleep.
