What inspired you to work in the travel industry, and how did your journey with Rickshaw begin?
I have always been inspired by how travel connects people, cultures, and stories. Helping others experience the world in a meaningful way felt like a natural path for me. My journey with Rickshaw began because of its focus on authentic, responsible travel and creating trips that go beyond the usual tourist routes—values that truly resonated with me.

What is your most memorable travel experience so far, and why does it stand out? 
My trip to Bali is my most memorable experience. The island’s beautiful balance of nature, culture, and spirituality left a lasting impression on me. From peaceful rice terraces to meaningful interactions with locals, Bali taught me how travel can be both relaxing and deeply enriching.

If you were planning a dream trip for a guest, what experience would you always include? 
I would always include an experience that allows guests to connect with local life—whether it’s staying in a small family-run accommodation, sharing a home-cooked meal, or exploring a destination with a local guide who brings the culture to life and definitely also a moment of serenity like a sunrise or sunset in a beautiful natural setting, giving the guest time to slow down and truly absorb the place.

How do you bring the Rickshaw travel spirit into every client experience?
I focus on understanding each guest’s interests and travel style, then design trips that feel personal, thoughtful, and authentic. By highlighting local experiences and responsible choices, I aim to make every journey meaningful and memorable—true to the Rickshaw spirit

What destination or experience is next on your personal travel wish list—and why?
Japan is next on my travel wish list. I’m fascinated by how the country blends ancient traditions with modern life, from historic temples to vibrant cities. Experiencing its culture, cuisine, and seasonal landscapes firsthand would be truly unforgettable. The country’s attention to detail, hospitality, and seasonal beauty—especially cherry blossoms—make it a destination where every experience feels meaningful and unique.
