With the addition of four new Tanzanian-owned aircraft, Air Tanzania has announced plans to begin flights in Kenya, Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) and Rwanda. The Bombardier Q 400-8 will fly to Nairobi, with the Bombardier CS 300 connecting Dar-es-Salaam to Lubumbashi, DRC. At the same time, Air Tanzania has plans to expand to fly to Kigali, Rwanda, London, the UAE and Oman – all routes to be confirmed within the next two years.
