In a bid to boost annual foreign visitor arrivals beyond current levels, the government of Tanzania has purchased new planes to simplify the routes flying into Tanzania.

Tanzania recently signed a deal with Canada’s Bombardier Inc. to buy two more planes plus another, a Boeing 787 Dreamliner, which is expected to be delivered in June. This will make seven planes in their fleet.
Air Tanzania’s fleet will allow it to expand both its domestic and regional markets, and the new CS300 aircraft has the range to open new international destinations such as the Middle East and India.
