AirAsia X has made history by launching its first direct flight from Kuala Lumpur to Nairobi, marking its entry into East Africa. This new route aims to enhance cultural exchange, boost tourism, and facilitate business and trade between Southeast Asia and East Africa. The airline's CEO, Benyamin Ismail, expressed excitement about expanding connectivity and inspiring travelers to explore stunning destinations. With four weekly flights to Nairobi, AirAsia X offers over 156,000 seats annually with fares starting from RM699 or USD199 one-way. The promotional fares are available for booking until 14 Dec 2024 for travel until 30 June 2025.
