AURIC AIR – Starting September 1, 2014, Auric Air, a privately owned airline in Tanzania will fly their first international route from Mwanza, via Bukoba and will be launched to Entebbe in Uganda.  Recenty they also added frequencies to Zanzibar, Pemba and Tanga.

RWANDAIR – Daily flights between Entebbe and Juba in South Sudan were introduced in August and was made possible by the recently granted 5th freedom traffic rights to RwandAir by the Uganda Civil Aviation Authority.

Mr. Nyirubutama, RwandaAir’s Deputy CEO and COO added that “this new schedule, in addition to connecting Juba to Entebbe, will also provide it with seamless connections to the entire RwandAir network and in particular to Kigali, Johannesburg, Nairobi, Lagos, Accra, Dar es Salaam and Dubai.

QATAR AIRWAYS - Qatar Airways has been busy lately boosting flights to various cities as well as launching a new route to Asmara.  In addition to flights to Bucharest and Sofia from October, Qatar has added flights to Turkey’s Sabiha Gökçen Airport and to Tehran, Islamabad and Muscat. And in December, Qatar Airways will commence flights to the Eritrean capital of Asmara.
