Botswana’s online visa application platform was launched on August 12 by the Minister of Nationality, Immigration and Gender Affairs, Anna Mokgethi.
Tourists who require a visa to visit Botswana can now login to the portal to create an application, make payment, complete the visa application and upload all supporting documents. They can also check their visa status via the portal.
The eVisa costs BWP300 (€23) for a single entry for up to one month, and BWP500 (€38) for multiple entries for up to three months. The visa fee is non-refundable and payment does not guarantee approval.
Visas granted will be subject to compliance with the immigration regulations of the Republic of Botswana. The portal can be accessed here.
