Egypt is sparing no effort to expand its airport network. The North African country wants to open up all geographical areas of high tourist interest in a sustainable manner

An airport will soon be built in Farafra in the west of Egypt. The government, meeting in the Council of Ministers, recently approved the allocation of land to the airport operator, Egyptian Airports Company, for the construction of the said infrastructure. A total area of 23,894.44 acres will be used for the construction of the airport.
