Hilton Worldwide has opened the first Doubletree hotel in Qatar. Doubletree by Hilton Doha - Old Town is located in the neighbourhood of Al Salata, a ten-minute drive from Hamad International airport.

It contains 187 rooms and suites, all of which have free wifi and provide guests with panoramic city views through floor-to-ceiling windows.

The property also features a 24-hour business centre, four meeting rooms and a banquet room. Of the two food and drink venues, Pure offers an open-air lounge ideal for a light meal or drink, while all-day dining restaurant Open has an open kitchen.

Additional facilities include a fitness centre, sauna, steam room and rooftop swimming pool.

The property is Hilton Worldwide's second hotel in Qatar, joining Hilto Doha, and is the seventh
Doubletree in the Middle East.

Doubletree by Hilton debuted in Liverpool last month (see news, October 14).
