Two new properties are being opened in East Africa by Abu Dhabi-based hoteliers Rotana Hotels and Resorts. The first will open in early 2019 in Dar es Salaam, with a second property set to open in Nairobi in 2022. The Johari Rotana in Dar will be in the MNF Square area, and will include retail, business and accommodation spaces. The hotel will hold 193 rooms and suites, with an additional 61 serviced apartments. Business travellers will appreciate the meeting rooms, and all guests will appreciate the all-day dining, specialty restaurants and more. Nairobi’s Rotana will be a five-star luxury hotel with 200 rooms and 100 apartments. There will also be a pool, terrace and high-end fitness club.
