Starting this month, Ethiopian Airlines will commence thrice-weekly direct flights from Addis Ababa to Zanzibar on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays. This is in addition to the current daily service via Kilimanjaro.

Ethiopian Airlines Sales Manager (Zanzibar), Mohammed Mansour, announced the new flight after the airline’s B787-9 Dreamliner – the first in Africa – landed at Zanzibar’s Abeid Amani Karume International Airport on November 1.
