Starting from January 1st, 2024, the current promotional rates for gorilla permits will be extended until December 31st, 2024. During the period of June to October 2024, individuals belonging to the following categories: Nationals, Foreign residents, East Africans, and Africans, are required to purchase promotional permits at least 72 hours before the scheduled trekking date.

Rwanda and EAC Nationals | USD 200 | Requirements: National ID, Valid passport, Birth certificate 

Foreign residents in Rwanda, African citizens, foreign residents in all African countries, including Rwanda | USD 500 | Requirements: Valid passport, Resident ID/Diplomatic card/Visa of minimum 4 consecutive months
