Fastjet Tanzania is reportedly suspending its new route from Kilimanjaro Airport and Nairobi because of the low demand by passengers flying that route. It is also cutting the number of flights between Dar es salaam and Nairobi to two a week, now on Friday and Sunday, reiterating that if the numbers later demanded more flights be added, they would do that. The Kenyan Civil Authority has also asked Fastjet to advertise the ticket prices to include all taxes and fees and not show only the fare.

Fastjet Zimbabwe has added six additional flights between Harare and Johannesburg due to increased demand, while Fastjet has stopped flying into Malawi citing the devalued kwacha and it being denied a license to land at Chileka Airport in Blantyre.
