Fastjet Zimbabwe will increase its current schedule to daily services between Victoria Falls, International Airport and Johannesburg, OR Tambo International Airport, effective May 30.

“The flight arrival times in Victoria Falls have been adjusted, offering customers the opportunity to minimise the time spent at the airport with a likely faster airport exit and more time at hand to enjoy some of the afternoon activities that Victoria Falls is renowned for, as well as a seamless opportunity for daytime road transport arrangements,” said a fastjet Zimbabwe spokesperson.

Furthermore, the departure from Victoria Falls to Johannesburg, offers customers a leisurely morning in Victoria Falls to include any last-minute activities, like curio and art shopping and arriving in Johannesburg just before the peak travel times for those travellers connecting via OR Tambo International Airport and rush hour in Johannesburg.

The new flight programme will operate daily as follows:

Johannesburg (JNB) to Victoria Falls (VFA)

• FN 8501 Johannesburg to Victoria Falls depart 11:10 arrive 12:50

Victoria Falls (VFA) to Johannesburg (JNB)

• FN 8502 Victoria Falls to Johannesburg depart 13:20 arrive 14:55

Flights are operated by the airline’s 50-seat Embraer ERJ145 aircraft.
