Flydubai has announced a landmark agreement with Airbus for the purchase of 150 A321neo aircraft, marking the airline’s first major order with Airbus and an important expansion beyond its traditionally all-Boeing fleet. Signed during the Dubai Airshow 2025, the deal supports flydubai’s long-term growth plans in line with Dubai’s Economic Agenda D33 and the future expansion of Dubai World Central airport. The fuel-efficient A321neo, known for its advanced aerodynamics, next-generation engines, and improved cabin features, will help the airline enhance operational efficiency while reducing environmental impact, reinforcing flydubai’s commitment to a more sustainable and globally competitive fleet.
