On Friday October 5th, President Filipe Jacinto Nyusi laid the first stones for Mozambique’s new Chongoene International Airport, just outside the capital of Xai-Xai. Tourists coming to the area can enjoy activities such as scuba diving, snorkeling, fishing, kayaking and more in this beautiful beach area. President Nyusi said, “[The new airport] will be decisive in increasing the speed of development of the province [Gaza] and of [ours] the country as a whole".
