December 2019 will see the opening of the Swiss International Resort Mount Kenya, a new luxury holiday resort at the border of Nyeri and Laikipia Counties at the foot of Mount Kenya. The resort will include 180 hotel rooms and suites, and 150 private villas and townhouses. Each private villa includes four bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, and the townhouses each have three bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms. Resort facilities include a huge event space, dining options, pool, gym, spa, children’s playground and more.

Many guests will enjoy the nine-hole golf course with doubletrees, allowing the course to be played as 18 holes.
