London 2012 Olympics - Do You Have a Travel Plan? 

The London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games are now less than one year away. If you are a frequent flyer to the UK’s capital, have a travel plan in place to deal with the unprecedented influx of visitors to London and the subsequent rise in hotel demand.

The Olympic Games will take place between 27 July and 12 August 2012, with the Paralympic Games taking place between 29 August and 9 September. According to the London Organising Committee of the Olympic and Paralympic Games (LOCOG), they are expecting approximately:

• 15,000 athletes
• 27,500 accredited press
• 6,000 full-time Olympic workers
• 70,000 volunteers
• 510,000 expected spectator
