The Lufthansa Group is  expanding its services to East Africa.

This July 2021, the flight schedule already includes the dream island of Zanzibar (Tanzania) via  Mombasa (Kenya).

They will start flying from Frankfurt to Kilimanjaro twice a week for the first time from June 2022.

The flights will initially be published with Lufthansa flight numbers next week (May 26,later on will be operated by Eurowings Discover the new Lufthansa Group airline specialized in tourist travel  in summer 2022, from the Frankfurt and Munich hubs.
