All travellers to Zimbabwe and Zambia should note that the border crossing between Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe and Livingstone, Zambia will be closed from July 6 at 22:00 until July 7 at 09:00 due to the Econet Victoria Falls Marathon. The marathon is expecting 450 participants, who will each run 42.2km from across the street of the Victoria Falls Post Office to the Victoria Falls Primary School. During this time, the marathon route will be closed to all vehicle and foot traffic, and border crossings will not be permitted.
