Mozambique Airport Ready for International Flights

Maputo International Airport will soon be accepting commercial flights, with its runways now able to accommodate large passenger aircrafts such as the Boeing 747 and the Airbus 380.
 
International traffic is expected to take off due to lower insurance costs – the result of the airport meeting advanced safety requirements, making it low-risk to airlines. 
 
Maputo Airport has new navigation aid systems and a much-upgraded control tower. It also has a new fuel suppy system, runways have been upgraded and a new ramp has been constructed for freighters and other special aircraft.
 
 
International flights will expand the reach of Maputo International Airport, and increase the tourism and investment dollars entering the country.
