The UK Government has announced the rollout of the Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA) scheme, with eligible non-European visitors able to apply from 27 November 2024 and required to have an ETA for travel starting 8 January 2025. Eligible European visitors can apply from 5 March 2025, with travel requirements commencing on 2 April 2025. This initiative aims to enhance border security and improve the travel experience. Communication resources have been provided to assist stakeholders in informing passengers about these changes. A series of carrier engagement events will be held in October to discuss the ETA scheme and address any questions. For further details, please refer to the GOV.UK website or contact the carrier integration team.
