Roho ya Selous, a new ecotourism camp by Asilia Africa, in Selous Game Reserve in southern Tanzania, is now open for business

The tented camp is on a hill overlooking a waterway. It comprises eight private en-suite tents, including one family tent, each with air-cooling systems and there is a swimming pool on the property. The family tent is fitted with an interior children’s room, with its own toilet and shower.
All meals are prepared by Roho ya Selous resident chefs, and are enjoyed communally. Breakfast and lunch are served buffet-style or guests can opt for a full cooked breakfast. Tea and cake are served at 16h00, followed by a three-course dinner.
The camp is fitted with WiFi and is solar powered, with a back-up generator.
Activities include game drives, fishing on a catch-and-release basis, walking, boating and birding safaris.
Families with children aged five or older are welcome.
Selous Mbuyu is the closest airstrip to the camp and is about 20 minutes away.
