Starting November 30, 2024, Lufthansa will offer non-stop flights from Frankfurt to Rovaniemi, Finland, twice a week on Tuesdays and Saturdays, enhancing its network in Finland. Rovaniemi, known as Santa Claus's "official" hometown, lies on the Arctic Circle and is a gateway to natural wonders like the Northern Lights and cross-country ski resorts. This new route complements Lufthansa’s existing Finnish destinations of Helsinki, Oulu, Kittilä, Ivalo, and Kuusamo. Additionally, Lufthansa will extend its new routes from Frankfurt to Chisinau, Moldova, and from Munich to Nantes, France, into the winter season. All new destinations are available for booking through Lufthansa's usual channels.
