In December, Serengeti Balloon Safaris began flights over the Ngorongoro Conservation Area side of Ndutu, in addition to flights from Ruaha National Park. These flights give passengers new access to sightings of wildebeest over plains, lakes and woodlands. And the addition of these flights means that people staying on the Ngorongoro side don’t have to pay Serengeti entry fees to enjoy a balloon safari in that area.

With the larger number of camps and lodges in the Ngorongoro area, Serengeti Balloon Safaris will only continue to grow, as they are currently planning to expand to new balloon safari takeoffs during the course of the year.
