Oman Air has announced it will launch new direct flights between Muscat, Oman and Kigali, Rwanda starting in June 2026 (subject to regulatory approval), significantly strengthening air connectivity between Oman and the African continent. The route announcement, made during a formal signing ceremony with Omani and Rwandan officials, highlights growing ties in trade, tourism and business travel. The new service will offer travellers more options and seamless connections through Oman Air’s wider global network, while supporting Rwanda’s ambitions to become a key regional hub for aviation and economic activity.
