Qatar Airways is boosting its African operations with increased flights to Entebbe, Uganda, from August 1 to September 30, moving from daily to 11 weekly flights. This expansion aims to enhance air connectivity, boost trade, tourism, and economic ties, and improve passenger convenience. The airline's Vice President for Africa, Hendrik du Preez, highlights the strategic importance of Africa, noting increased connectivity and partnerships with African airlines. Qatar Airways now offers 180 flights per week to Africa, with plans to continue expanding its network and influence on the continent.
