Purple Cow Media Solutions launched the awards to recognize and felicitate the country’s best companies and individuals for their achievements and steadily transforming Tanzania’s economy. The event, the first of its kind, was held at the Hyatt Regency Hotel Kempinski in Dar es salaam on December 11, 2015 and was based on public perception and audited by a reputed auditor.

Prior to the awards ceremony on the 11th, on the 10th, Rickshaw Travels’ director, Pooja Lalji, was part of the Tanzania Expert Panel Discussion, which was broadcast live in the form of a debate, which was both enlightening and entertaining. The best minds of the business arena had gathered under one roof  to discuss the country’s economic scenario.

Rickshaw Travels won the Award under the Brand Excellence category of Travel Agency & Tourism. We feel both extremely honoured and very humbled for receiving this significant award in such strong competition.  We would like to thank everyone involved in this successful event, where we had the opportunity of meeting and mingling with other nominees and winners from other categories.
