Travellers to the Lower Zambezi National Park in Zambia can now fly between that park and the Royal Airstrip on flights contracted to Royal Air Charters (RAC). RAC will operate the flights on behalf of Royal Zambezi Lodge. While the Lodge originally noted the need for flights between Livingstone, the Royal Airstrip and Lusaka, and arranged for RAC to take the contract, the flights themselves are open to the general public, and guests staying at other accommodations can still book a seat on any of the RAC flights. Flights connecting Lusaka will run year-round, while flights to Livingstone will only run during the high season months for safaris.
