The five-star Sankara Nairobi hotel will rebrand as a Marriott hotel beginning in early 2019 after signing a franchising agreement with Marriott International. The new Marriott will trade under The Autograph Collection, the most premium Marriott hotels. Rebranding will give Sankara Hotel guests access to Marriott International’s world-class reservation systems and loyalty programs.

Alex Kyriakidis, President of Marriott for the Middle East and Africa, said of the new agreement: “We believe this hotel is a perfect fit for the brand and the rebranding is in lockstep with growing demand from consumers and their desire for unique and differentiated experiences wherever they travel.”
