Uganda Airlines has officially launched scheduled flights between Entebbe International Airport and Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja, marking a significant milestone in Uganda-Nigeria relations. The inaugural flight on September 12, 2024, was welcomed by Nigerian officials, including Dr. Hassan Ejibunu and Ambassador Nelson Ocheger. This new route, which operates twice a week, aims to enhance economic, commercial, and social interactions between the two nations. The launch coincided with the 4th Nigeria-Uganda Trade and Business Forum, highlighting opportunities for collaboration. With the Abuja route, Uganda Airlines now serves 16 destinations, reinforcing its commitment to improving intra-Africa trade and connectivity.
