Uganda Airlines has reinstated flights to Dubai after they were suspended on December 29.
The flights, which operate on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays, resumed on January 8 using an Airbus A330 neo.
The UAE authorities had red-flagged Uganda and other East African states, affecting all inbound and transiting passengers. The decision was taken amid concerns over the Omicron variant and rising infection numbers in the UAE.
The ban has since been lifted allowing the airlines to resume services.
