Good news -  In an aim to boost tourism, Uganda has reduced it’s single entry visa fee from US $100 to US $50. The East Africa Tourist Visa (Uganda | Rwanda | Kenya) remains at $100. 

Also last month, the Government of Uganda introduced the online visa application system for all persons intending to travel to Uganda. Applications should be filled at the following link: https://visas.immigration.go.ug/

The decision taken on the application will be sent electronically through the email provided by the applicant. If approved, an approval letter will be sent as an attachment to the email provided. Print it out and present it together with a valid passport / travel document at the port of entry.
