2D/1N Serval Wildlife and Marangu Culture Tour Christmas Special

Upon arrival at Arusha or Kilimanjaro Airport, a representative from Rickshaw Travels will escort you to your vehicle for a journey to Moshi, where you will embark on a Marangu Culture Tour. This immersive experience includes visits to the stunning waterfalls of Mount Kilimanjaro, the Chagga Museum showcasing local culture and history, and the underground Chagga tunnels used for protection during clan wars. You will also explore vibrant local markets, coffee and banana farms, and enjoy traditional dishes and drinks at a local bar. After a day of cultural exploration, you will return to Arusha for an overnight stay at Airport Planet Lodge. On Day 2, following an early breakfast, you will check out and head to a serval wildlife tour, where you can observe these fascinating animals in their natural habitat, along with other wildlife. The tour concludes with a transfer to Kilimanjaro Airport for your onward flight home.

Day 01:
Arusha
Arrival Arusha – Marangu Culture tour
After arrival at Arusha Airport or Kilimanjaro Airport, a Rickshaw travels representative will be waiting for you at the arrivals lounge of the airport to escort you to your vehicle. You will then proceed to serval wildlife, you will enjoy the tour for 2 hours
Marangu Cultural Tour
Today you will experience life on the slopes of Mount Kilimanjaro and visit Marangu village.
Waterfalls – Make a splash in the mountain water of Kilimanjaro and enjoy stunning views
of the surrounding valleys.
Chagga Museum – The Chagga culture and history can be explored by visiting the museum.
There are several exhibitions including a reconstructed thatched Chagga house.
Underground Chagga Tunnels – These were used by the Chagga people to hide from the
enemies during clan wars.
Colorful Local Markets - Marangu is the largest market for the sale of bananas in the
country and attracts buyers from all over Tanzania.
Coffee and Banana Farms – Visit coffee farms and a local home where you can enjoy local
dishes and learn the traditional process of preparing coffee from bean to cup.
Local Bar – Drop into one of the local Chagga bars and drink the traditional “mbege” a local
brew made from millet and banana wine.
Late afternoon transfer back to you in Arusha Town.
Please note for this day you will require nice walking shoes, Suntan locations, Cap and
Energy bars ☺ .

Day 02:
Arusha
Serval Wildlife -Departure
After early breakfast check out from the hotel and proceed to serval wildlife, you will enjoy the
tour for 2 hours
“It's beneficial to see the servals in their natural habitat, engaging in their typical behaviors.
Clients may also enjoy observing other wildlife and learning about the ecosystem, conservation
efforts, and the importance of protecting these species. Guided tours, educational sessions,
and opportunities to take photographs can enhance their experience. “

After enjoying the tour, you will be driven to Kilimanjaro Airport for your onwards flight back
home
