Beachcomber Resorts & Hotels has agreed to acquire the five-star Zuri Zanzibar Resort for approximately USD 79 million. The deal, signed on 23 June 2026, is expected to be completed by late September, pending regulatory approval. Following the acquisition, the resort will be rebranded under the Beachcomber Resorts & Hotels brand. The purchase strengthens the company's expansion across the Indian Ocean and reinforces its position in the luxury hospitality market. The move also supports Beachcomber's strategy to grow beyond its traditional operations in Mauritius, Seychelles, and Morocco.
