For decades, Tanzania has built its tourist appeal on safaris, Kilimanjaro and the beaches of Zanzibar. It now wants to diversify by opening a golf course in the Serengeti.
Tanzania wants to expand its tourism offering with the opening of an international golf course this July and by co-hosting the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations. Its aim: to attract new travellers, boost foreign investment and diversify one of the main sources of income for its economy.
