Airlink has announced the launch of the first-ever non-stop service between Cape Town and Zanzibar, starting 3 October 2026. Operating weekly on Saturdays with the airline's new Embraer E195-E2 aircraft, the route will make it easier than ever for travellers to reach the spice island in just over six hours. The new service builds on Airlink's expanding East African network and offers a convenient option for both leisure and business travellers looking to experience Zanzibar's pristine beaches, rich culture and UNESCO-listed Stone Town.
