Air Tanzania is set to launch its first-ever direct service to Russia, connecting Dar es Salaam, Zanzibar and Moscow from early July. Operating three times a week on its Boeing 787 Dreamliner, the new route is expected to strengthen tourism, trade and investment ties between the two countries while opening easier access for Russian travellers to Tanzania’s beach and safari circuits. The move marks another milestone in Air Tanzania’s international expansion strategy.
